So this isnt a good sign huh?UPDATE 6/15>>>
My best friend just called me crying... she just started gushing red blood everywhere.....
Shes on her way to the ER (since her DR hasnt called her back  )
Is there any hope???
UPDATE-
She just called me...
She had a sono, and they said the baby heart is beating, and the baby looks healthy- they dont believe she is having a m/c... BUT they did find a large mass on her uterus...She goes in early tomorrow morning for more "tests"
What could this be???
Why wouldnt of the sono tech seen this @ her first sono???
UPDATE 6/15
She saw the triage DR today.... she had a sono, and was told that apparently some pocket formed (prob from the sack seperating from the side of the uterus) and that pocket is filled with blood... hence the reason she is bleeding....
She is now considered a threatened miscarriage, however the baby looks great, her levels look great (are exactly where there supposed to be) the heard and saw the strong heartbeat- so the Dr said she is cautiously optimistic that everything is gonna be fine!
She will be seen and have a sono every week until this "thing" fixes itself...
Anyone else know of/ or experience anything like it???

A family friend of ours has been bleeding since the beginning - she is around 15 weeks I think...and they're not sure why but e/t is ok with the baby. I  it is with your friend too.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine a long time ago. I forget what exactly happened but I know she was still PG after.

She said its ALOT of blood....
I know shes upset- so not sure what ALOT is to her....

My friend had lots of bleeding also - more heavy then a regular period type. I will keep my fingers crossed for her.

If she is gushing blood at 8 weeks, bright red blood then no unfortuantly it's probably not good. I hope she and baby are ok!!

I went with my SIL to the hospital on Wed night until 5 am since she called in the middle of the night that she was "gushing" blood. Even a little amount is terrifying- it ended up being unexplained and the baby is just fine.
I hope you friend is ok too

hope she's ok....
was she experiencing cramping? that's usually a bad sign, but bleeding with no cramping might be ok.

On Sunday she said she had some cramping.... but I had cramping the 1st trimester with Ryan, and was told it was my uterus stretching... so thats what I kept telling her

Well I havent heard anything and both cells are off... Because they are at the hospital...
How long until you think they will be home??? They'll prob be there awhile- right???
I wish her SO would call me and let me know whats going on, but he prob dosent wanna leave her

Judging by how long it took us on Wed night, about 4 hours and this is if everyone they need (sono tech) is on staff and not otherwise engaged.

My friend also had ALOT of bleeding in her 1 st trimester and she is due the end of AUgust . I Hoe your friend is ok too

That is AWESOME news that the baby is still there!!! I hope the mass is nothing and it will go away on its own and stop causing your friend unneeded stress! As for not seeing it, maybe it just appeared!
